August Update
Support Boys Outdoor Adventure Club
You might remember us from our time as KOZ. While we've transitioned to BOAC, our mission remains the same: to mentor boys, especially those without a consistent father figure, into Christlike men through outdoor adventures. All boys are welcome to join us! For years, we've seen incredible success taking boys fishing, camping, and teaching them valuable life skills. In the future, we're excited to expand our activities to include hunting for older boys, always leveraging God's creation as our classroom for mentorship.
BOAC operates entirely on the dedication of our leaders and the generosity of donations. This means fundraising is vital to our continued success.
We are currently running a raffle for a unique, custom-made wood-fired patio heater, crafted by a local artist. Forget ordinary propane heaters – this one is visually striking and uses wood.
Tickets: $5 each or 5 for $20
Thank you for your support over the past few years! We are incredibly grateful. With your continued help, we can keep mentoring these young boys on their journey to becoming godly men.
Buy Tickets Here!Last Friday, we explored two of the conflicts that challenged our walk of faith: humanism and religiosity. We delved into how these could pervert our instinct to worship. True biblical faith came from hearing and responding to the Word of God!
Isaiah 52:6-7
6Therefore My people shall know My name;
Therefore they shall know in that day
That I am He who speaks:
Behold, it is I.7How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
Your God reigns!
The difference between wishful thinking and a faith that was rooted in a personal relationship with the one who is the answer was discovered.

STRONGHOLDS
The initial step to dismantle unholy mindsets is to surrender the pride and self-reliant willpower that perpetuates cycles of bondage. This occurs through repentance, self-denial, and daily discipleship.
WRONG FIGHT
When we fight without permission, we end up drained, distracted, and beat up because we weren’t covered by obedience. God calls us to the simplicity that is in Christ—hearing God and doing what He says.
There are still a lot of things happening this summer!
