Thanksgiving is the actual gateway to God's presence and that gratitude remains incomplete until it is outwardly expressed. Drawing from the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17 and Jesus' example at the Last Supper, we learn how giving thanks in difficult times "sanitizes" our trauma and allows God to mark our sacrifice.
